BBB partnered with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), to create the Identity Theft Standards Panel (IDSP); a cross-sector forum on ID Theft & Fraud Prevention and ID Management.
This initiative pools – for the first time – issue stakeholders and experts from across industry and sector lines to:
- Create a single marketplace resource housing the entire spectrum of existing
standards, guidelines and best practices germane to this issue
- Perform a Gap Analysis to identify key areas for new standards development that would further fortify the marketplace against identity theft and fraud.
