On January 2, 2025, BBB contacted this business about their unauthorized use of the BBB Accredited Business Seal or logo on two of their websites. Despite several contacts to the business, they did not respond nor remove the BBB's Trademark from their website. This business is not a BBB Accredited Business.

According to information provided by consumers and by the ND Attorney General's office, several websites are offering 'FRT' gun triggers for sale as 'Rare Breed Triggers,' showing an address in Fargo, ND. These websites include 'rarebreedtrigger.org,' 'rarebreedtriggers.org,' and 'rarebreedtriggers.net.' Consumers describe placing an order through the sites, then receiving e-mails from a "logistics" company demanding several hundred dollars in additional funds to cover "warehouse fees" or "delivery fees."


BBB notes that a business called 'Rare Breed Triggers' is based in Texas, with website 'rarebreedtriggers.com.' The 'lookalike' sites listed above do not appear affiliated in any way with the business in Texas. BBB also notes that some of these sites display 'BBB Accredited Business' logos, though none of these businesses are BBB Accredited. If you are currently in communication with any of these 'lookalike' sites, BBB strongly urges you not to send money.
