This company overcharged me almost $100 and then made up its own facts to support the charges. I needed someone for around 2 hours, plus the trips from the office to the pickup point and back from the dropoff point (they always charge for these). I was told the cost was $50/hour. I was then charged $228. After being bounced from person to person at the company and told repeatedly I was wrong about the overcharges, I filed a dispute through my financial institution. The company then claimed its charges were $57/hour, that I had agreed to the 4-hour charge by accepting an estimate when I booked the trip, and that I miscalculated the time involved in the trips to and from the pickup/dropoff point (which were based on GPA readings). They also sent out the driver early so that the time was calculated from 15 minutes before my requested pickup time. However, when my financial institution contacted them, the company immediately offered to refund one hour, a tacit admission that they had just tacked on an extra hour. The dispute is still ongoing, as I want the entire overcharge returned based on the original hourly rate I was quoted. Anyone planning to use this company should be very careful. Apparently among their business practices is not only is not only charging sky-high rates and changing them at will but also padding their bills. It's unclear to me how they stay in business.
