I scheduled a move of household items from Baton Rouge to Opelousas, Louisiana. I was told when the move was scheduled that there would be a three(3) hour minimum, and if the move time were shorter that the minimum time billed would be reduced to two(2) hours charged. After my items were loaded and almost all way to my home in Opelousas, Louisiana(45 minutes later) I received a call from a young lady with Two Men and a Truck telling me that it would be a four(4) hour minimum to make the 45 minutes to Opelousas. I told her that that was unacceptable, and I wanted speak to a manager. She transferred me to the manager, and he advised me that they had a recording of me agreeing to a four(4) hour minimum. I told him that I would have never agreed to four(4) hours for a 45 minute haul. I asked him to provide me with that recording and he could not. The delivery Men said at most the entire delivery was 2.5 hours. The company has drafted my account already for the four(4) hour time. I asked the manager to have the owner call me, and he said that he would not. The manager said that the owner couldn't be bothered with calling me to resolve this discrepancy. The move was for 10 items, and that's why the crew was able to load me in 20 minutes. It took them 30 minutes to unload my items at my home. I informed the manager that I would be contacting you with a complaint, and his response was "whatever".
