Joe Dillon is Chief Financial Officer of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB), a position he has held since joining the CBBB staff in June of 1997. Mr. Dillon is responsible for the CBBB's overall financial management and reporting.
Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the National Association of Life Underwriters from 1984 to 1997. Mr. Dillon has worked in the non-profit sector for the past 26 years. In addition, Mr. Dillon worked as a staff accountant for a CPA firm, specializing in non-profit auditing and tax work, from 1976 to 1979.
Mr. Dillon holds an accounting degree from the University of Maryland. He passed the CPA exam in 1984 and is licensed in the state of Maryland. He holds memberships in the Maryland Association of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
