Better Business Bureau is issuing a warning about Silver Star Real Estate Group. Since March, BBB received several complaints about this company from across the United States and Canada. Consumers have alleged Silver Star took money to sell their timeshares and then company representatives stopped answering phone calls or returning messages.

Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona is warning consumers of a scam targeting the financial data of Facebook, Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail users. The scam infects its victim’s computers with a version of the Zeus Trojan virus- a malware program regularly used to commit bank fraud.

The BBB has received calls from numerous North Alabama consumers who report that they have been charged $19.95 or more for a credit report on their debit or credit card account by Experian, Consumerinfo.com or Creditreport.com, but have not recently purchased their credit report. Creditreport.com is part of a family of online consumer credit reporting sites belonging to Consumerinfo.com, Inc. an Experian company.
