Consumers have reported to the BBB that they have received a letter with a check from RBC Financial out of Canada concerning an award claim notification stating that they have won $125,000. The check sent to the consumer is for $4,850 in which the consumer is to deposit the check then money gram $2,950 to the award claim contact to pay for taxes. This is a scam.
