Complaint: Volve of Greenville is owned by Asbury Automotives and supposedly owns E Leads. Greenville of Volvo has E Leads call previous sales and/or service customers multiple times using different tatics to get a sales appointment. They have called constantly. Once, I was asked about the performance of my husband's*** when I said that he was obviously a telemarker for warranty or something and he hung up. The second time, someone called and continuously called my husband pressuring him to make an appointment at Volvo of Greenville to purchase a new car. Volvo of Greenville then called me asking about the lead that they received and that if this was true that my husband had made an appointment for next week to purchase a new car. The general manager, ***, at Volvo of Greenville says that Asbury Automotives owns E Leads and uses it for customer relations and to call their previous sales and service customers to get appointments for their salepersons. They say that this is not considered selling our information to a third party because the owner of Volvo of Greenville owns E Leads also. I do not agree and do not appreciate that E Leads has all of my contact information, as well as all of the Volvos that I have bought and/or had serviced at Volvo of Greenville. Pam says that she has asked E Leads to take us off their call list. I believe this us unauthorized use of our private information even though they do not.

Desired Settlement: I don't know what would be the proper settlement for this situation. I want Asbury Automotives to provide our information to supposedly their customer sales relations company, E Leads, and use different tatics to harass us into having to make appointments so that they will stop calling us. I want Asbury to not be allowed to give our information to this E Leads or other companies. we have not provided permission for our information to be used or sold, etc on any forms we have signed.

**** ********* was upset because our call center for our customer follow-up system called them about coming in to test drive a new car and maybe trading in their current vehicle.  We make calls out to our current service data base to bring in business.  This is all done through our call center and sometimes with our salespeople.  When **** ********* called me I immediately took her name off any list that would be getting a call.
