    Hyundai extended their warranty for five years for consumers that were affected by a manufactures defect regarding the peeling of white paint on their vehicles. The paint on my vehicle started peeling on the hood last year which has been fixed. In January of 2023 the paint started peeling on the roof. In January I brought my car back to the dealership in Greer on Wade Hampton and was told by the service manager which is the same individual that assisted me with the hood (Kamil * B*****) to get three estimates, which I did same day. At that time, he told me to give him about a week, and he will get back to me. I have continued to communicate with him which at times he will return an email and other times he will not even respond. The explanation for the delay is he is waiting to get an opening in the body shop to get my roof repainted. With no assistance from him, I contacted the Hyundai National Consumer Affairs Department. My case number is ******** and my case manager is Katherine, no last name provided. I am getting nowhere regarding this issue, and it has been since January. Something needs to be done regarding the lack of responsibility with this company. It has been over 8 months this has been going on. My original case number when I first called which was before Katherine took over this case was ********. The code number I was provided along with this case number which is for the issue regarding the peeling of the paint is ****. My understanding is that this is the number the dealership uses regarding this manufactures defect which is submitted when the work is done identifying the issue. I can send pictures of my roof if necessary. On September 5th at 5:49pm Katherine emailed me stating that the service advisor will be calling me as soon as possible. No one called me so I let her know that and now she is not responding to me emails. I have been more than patient regarding this matter, and I am not getting any resolution. Thank You

    Hyundai of Greer is my GO TO!!!! They are amazing :) I beg to differ with the comments below. I have NEVER had a problem and have bought three cars from them. Joyce is an amazing sales rep. and Fred will do anything for his customers. Jeff is the best service manager that I have ever met!!! Just give them a chance!!! Hyundai of Greer :)
