Rochester, NY— Better Business Bureau serving Upstate New York is proud to present Comfort Windows with its 4th Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence. The award is designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that our marketplace remains fair and honorable. Management and staff from around the state gathered at Comfort Windows’ Rochester showroom to participate in the award celebration.
“Successful businesses such as Comfort Windows make a commitment to honest business practices and earn trust from the consumers they serve,” said Warren Clark, President of Better Business Bureau serving Upstate New York. Comfort Windows is no stranger to the Torch Awards, winning in 2005, 2007, 2010 and now 2013. Comfort Windows has an A + rating with BBB, and has been an accredited business since 1985.
Comfort Windows is a family owned business and is the largest home improvement company in Upstate New York. Comfort prides itself as an award winning window manufacturer that installs own product with its own employees, not subcontractors. An independent judging committee reviewed each application received by BBB and scores each business, grouped by size, to identify winners with each category. Businesses throughout Upstate New York have an opportunity to apply for the annual BBB Torch Award program whether they are BBB accredited or not. The businesses that apply must be in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
