BBB Alert: Security Flaw reported with Internet Explorer

April 28, 2014

Better Business Bureau serving Upstate New York is warning about a security flaw with Internet Explorer.

The Department of Homeland Security advised Americans not to use the Internet Explorer Web browser until a fix is found for a serious security flaw. The flaw was discovered over the weekend.

Earlier this month, Microsoft discontinued service for its Windows XP operating system, which left XP users more vulnerable to computer viruses and malware.
