I have 2 or 3 problems with Isaac Heating & Plumbing. They installed a new furnace and central air unit on or around 10/27/2023. I also had my attic and basement insulated as I qualified for a state energy savings program. The problem that evolved from this is that I was guaranteed by contract to receive a $600.00 gift card and I was shorted $125.00 that Isaac admitted they owed me and I still haven't received it. The bigger problem I have with Isaac is that the hot water heater Isaac installed 5 years ago was leaking from the top. On 3/09/2024 Isaac sent a plumber to assess the problem. He told me that there was excessive heat coming out of the exhaust pipe going from the heater to the chimney which in turn melted the fittings on top of the water heater. I had to pay him $109.00 for that 10 minute assessment. On 3/11/2024 Isaac sent out a technician to install a new water heater. When he disconnected the exhaust. pipe to the chimney he found that the duct work from the hot water heater was never hooked up to the vent pipe in the chimney by the installer from Isaac that put in his water heater that only lasted 5 years because it wasn't properly drafting to get the carbon monoxide to the chimney for proper ventilation. I was with the technician to witness what he was telling me. I asked him if this was a dangerous situation and he said it could have killed us. My wife and I are both upset about this whole ordeal and Isaac still refuses to contact us with an explanation. The didn't hesitate to bill me $575.00 which I had to pay the technician before he left. My wife and I are both working class retired people. You'd think the least Isaac would do is reimburse us money we paid the plumber and technician and pay us the remainder of the gift card they promised us. After all, the water heater only lasted 5 years because the last technician from Isaac didn't install the water heater properly which caused it to leak and could have jeopardized me and my wifes health.
