      On 05/21/22, my wife and I went to Dunk & Bright to purchase outdoor furniture that my wife found online. After finding and sitting on the sets, we elected to purchase a sectional set with a fire pit and a dining set with a fire top, all totaling over $9,000. When the furniture arrived, the dining chairs and the sectional were damaged. We informed the delivery person, who was very helpful, and advised that we could send him photos of the damage (bent metal frame) and he would report it. We sent the photos, and then my wife was contacted by a furniture repair person. Simultaneously, Dunk and Bright lost our paperwork and had us return a signed contact once, and then we contacted again to resign additional documentation. When we were contacted again, my wife informed them that we still have damaged furniture and that we were not interested in being required to accept repairs on a furniture set that we paid almost 10,000 dollars for. On 01/24/23 our salesperson Michelle, contacted by wife via text to request our signatures yet again. After informing her that the items were damaged, she said she would look into it. She contacted us and advised that we would have to allow the repair person to inspect the furniture. My wife agreed and took a call from the repair person yesterday (1/31) who did not know it was outdoor furniture (he wasn’t interested in inspecting outside) and advised that he could likely fix the sectional. My wife informed him that he could modify or adjust the chairs, but that we were not approving a repair on the sectional which had significant damage, as we want that unit replaced. He declined to come, but stated he would report to the company. We are sad and disappointed that we purchased an item and are being told that we have to accept defective property and have it repaired instead of replaced. We followed the instructions we were provided and immediately reported the damage (which we have photos of). Why are we being required to keep damaged goods?

      I purchased a mattress ($999) and split box spring ($150) from Dunk & Bright on Salina St in Syracuse, NY in Oct 2021. After 1 month (Nov 2021) the mattress had problems (material separated and felt springs in our backs). I called and went in with pictures since it was under warranty (should be after 1 month) but instead of getting the same mattress we decided to upgrade to the next level of mattress at an additional cost of $640 to alleviate any further problems. After a year we had the same issue with the new mattress. Since I know the mattress was under warranty I contacted Dunk & Bright in March 2022 and they told me they do not deal with ******** any longer and that I should contact the company directly which I did. I contacted ******** in Buffalo, NY and gave them all the pertinent information and pictures. It was under warranty and told me they would replace the mattress and forward it to Dunk & Bright for delivery. It was delivered to D&B on May 11, 2022 and they were supposed to contact me for delivery. I did not hear anything from them so I contacted them on May 13 and again on May 17. I finally spoke with someone in delivery, they needed to find the mattress and would call me. I received a call back stating they could deliver it for a cost of $134 and change. I asked why if it was under warranty and that they delivered the first one and took away the defective mattress at no charge why they needed to charge for delivery and take away now. The answer was they do not deal with this company any longer. If I want I can pick it up. This is unacceptable. If something is under warranty and you purchased from them in good faith they should deliver it and take away as a good faith gesture since you bought the product from them. I had planned on purchasing items needed for an upcoming project but I will not be purchasing anything further from this company because of their lack of business ethics. Now how to get a mattress with no truck. Unbelievable.

We sold that bedding to you in good faith and are sorry for the issues you have experienced. The amount charged was 128.52 not 134 and change, I have processed your refund of 128.52 on card ending in ****. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to be returned to your account. We do our best to take great care with our customers and I will speak with the associate that made an error and charged you 128.52. I am hopeful our action has restored your faith in Dunk and Bright Furniture. Thank you, Christine D.
