    I booked this room thru ******* and ended up getting snowed in and couldn’t leave to drive there. Called ******* who said they should be able to get it handled because we obviously didn’t intend to get snowed in and they could see we were staying in a heavy snow areas. They had plenty of accommodations available when I booked it the reservation, so it wasn’t an issue of overbooking as it is the slow season - and they had zero reason not to let us out of it. Leanna informed me the manager is out of town for a WEEK and no refund would be issued. I travel all of the time and sometimes I screw up myself and most properties are kind enough to refund if it’s a valid reason. This is one of the first times ******* was willing to provide the refund and the property did not. Leanna was very unprofessional and should not be in customer service. Unacceptable! Thankfully ******* gave me a partial credit because NOONE can drive here right now. I am always amazed at how short sighted business can be!

    This hospitality lodge is not customer centric at all. The manager and employee (that I dealt with) are not friendly when there is a challenge or opportunity. They don't know how to be respectful. We had 3 reservations for New Year's Eve. They miss quoted us after taking the payment. I attempted to make reservation and they said increased the rates. They said their employee made a mistake and you will not get that rate. I asked to speak to the manager the firs time I called, yesterday, and I was Told no. She said If I go that route they will raise the rates of my friends. After looking up a manager on ******** I was able to get the managers name and leave a message. They employee who booked my friends room had to call me and own up to his mistake (btw that's terrible the manager did that to the kid). I asked to speak to Jessica and she called me back saying they won't honor the price. I told her how disappointed I was in the way they are handling this and I will/ friends will not go there anymore. The girl and manager, Jessica, were extremely rude. I will take this up with ny state and many organizations on consumer disclosures. She said that's fine, see that how that works out for you and we are a coop. It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to not honor pricing that you already took payment on and not to mention the lousy attitude. Go somewhere else. ****** next time you are up there and help out a local business person while you are there
