A far-away friend bought me a mattress from here. It's been difficult (on my end) to get a delivery date arranged. Shanan has been wonderfully patient and helpful, she's also very kind. I highly recommend them for a mattress purchase,I couldn't be more pleased.Review from Clint T

I would not recommend Metro Mattress. We purchased two mattresses from them. We scheduled a deliver and neither mattress was delivered with no notification. We contacted the store and were informed that one of the mattresses was on back order but had since came in. We scheduled a 2nd delivery. On the 2nd delivery date only one mattress arrived and again with no notification. We contact the store and scheduled a 3rd delivery date. The 3rd delivery date came and went and no delivery or notification. We again contacted the store and were given no clear explanation or a clear delivery date for the missing mattress. This company has waisted a ton of our time causing us to miss work and other things waiting on deliveries that never came. I would encourage you to shop elsewhere.Review from John M

Danielle was very pleasant and helped me with purchasing the matress I wanted. She was professional and made the necessary arrangements for delivery, and emailed me my receipt promptly. I purchased a Chatham Wells and Spring Air beds from the Johnstown, NY Metro Mattress. I was told by a store representative that I was entitled to a 75" Samsung television due to a current promotion. This turned out to be totally false as the Samsung televisions for this promotion were 42" or 32". I tried to communicate this to the Johnstown store employees but they did not take my phone calls or answer my emails. In addition to this the delivery drivers harassed me while I was driving to my new rental home beginning around 12:00 noon. I had a scheduled delivery for "after 3:00 PM" but the delivery people were done early and I was the last customer so they wanted to deliver earlier. There was nothing I could do about this as I was driving and at least an hour and a half from the destination. As a courtesy for the delivery trauma the Johnstown store offered a free set of sheets and 2 pillows. I retrieved them from another store in my area and the pillows are dreadful as are the polyester sheets. This is my second Chatham Wells purchase from Metro Mattress and I will not be going to another one ever. As for the television I only cared because I was told the 75" was the deal so I left behind my large smart television when I moved.Review from Kathy M

I was in need of a bed but wasn't sure about purchasing online. Once I purchased, It said someone would be in touch to set up delivery. That is exactly what happened. Shanan L****** texted me first thing in the morning. She helped me finalize my payment and set up my delivery for tomorrow! This was so easy & the best experience. METRO MATTRESS IS DISHONEST! If you are in the market for a *********** mattress I suggest going to Metro mattress and try out their complete line of sample mattress’s AND THEN BUY DIRECTLY FROM ***********. We purchased a *********** mattress in Metro Mattress and were misled by the store into thinking we had 30 days to return the mattress when in fact you cannot return a *********** mattress to Metro Mattress if you are unsatisfied with it. BUY DIRECTLY FROM ***********. IF THEY CAN’T RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE THEY WILL RETURN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MATTRESS Metro Mattress will not.Metro Mattress Corp. Response

This place is a joke I would never recommend you ever using them. they sold me a mess up bed for 3500 and the base had holes in it and the bed had a stain. The Original manager Craig was absolutely no help when it came to getting another bed a lot of broken promises 3 weeks later. I'm still up with the same bed. I would definitely never recommend using this company. This is the worst company I've ever used in my life. This happen in Manchester ct I'm gonna complain to all ur store. By the way, the c e o is not Existing to handle any management decisions... a number hold on. To resolve the issue, it's always some beating around the Bush thing.Metro Mattress Corp. Response

On Aug. 26th 2023 at approximately 2:00pm a very close personal friend of mine went to Metro Mattress at the *** ******** Blvd. location in Camillus looking for a new mattress. After discussing price, availability etc. he took one of the salesman's business cards, stated he would discuss the matter further with his wife and return. The salesman then snatched the business card of out his hand and stated, "These business cards are for paying customers". And as if that wasn't egregious enough, he further went on to request he "Get out of his store". When questioned about his behavior the salesperson then proceeded to call the police on this 50+ year old upstanding businessman who barely speaks above a whisper. While on the phone with the police the salesperson was quite clear to point out that the person he wanted removed was "Pakistanian". But it didn't stop there he then proceeded to take pictures of my friend's vehicle. I still can't imagine why on earth the salesman did that. The store has video surveillance, I am confident that security footage will prove this treated was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. I will NEVER shop at Metro Mattress ever again and will share this story every opportunity I get.Metro Mattress Corp. Response

The customer was aggressive towards the salesperson and the police were called and a report was filed. Supervisors were contacted and Human Resources were involved in order to protect the salesperson. As a second party and not the persons involved. Metro Mattress asks that this review be removed based on the fact that it's not truthful.Review from Terry B

Would not send my worst enemy to this so called mattress store. My girlfriend and I went to the Greece, NY location to look at mattresses and adjustable bed frames. Spoke to a sales representative named Gabby, who was very pleasant and helpful. We left the store telling Gabby we wanted to talk it over the products she presented us with. She said this would be fine. We returned several days later, and Gabby was not available, so we spoke with the supposed store manager named Mark.Right off the bat, we found Mark to be quite pushed really wanted to make a sale. To make a long story short,my girlfriend purchased a top of the line Tempurpedic mattress and I purchased a top of the line Spring Air mattress. My girlfriend payed cash for her bed, and I financed my bed and a adjustable base. Our beds were delivered on 2 different dates. My girlfriend had no problems with her delivery. Not so with mine! The day of my delivery it was raining, so we asked delivery people if they could please wear overshoe booties to protect our floors. The person who was in charge of the delivery immediately took an attitude with us and said they didn't have any booties. Next, we asked them to please NOT to take the plastic overwrap off the mattress until they got it into the bedroom. This caused more agitation. The driver then called his boss and told him we were giving him a hard time. This absolutely was not the case. The driver said he was not going to deliver the mattress and took it back to the truck. We called Metro mattress and spoke to Gabby and explained the situation in detail, and she told us I will not be responsible for the mattress. The driver left the mattress cover,so I called and talked to Gabby and she told me to just return it and would not be charged. I called back again today and spoke to Mark, who told me I indeed was going to be charged for the cover,that my girlfriend and I were both racists and were never allowed, nor to ever call HIS store again!! PLEASE, STAY AWAY
