Additional Notes

Complaint: Contractor is *** ********, DBA Affordable Fence. Contractor wanted payment in "cash" which was made, Contractor failed to complete the project, despite a bonus paid. Contractor did not answer repeated calls for help in resloving missing fence part. Contractor twice cut irrigation system in the process of installing fence causing flooding and additional costs to us to have repairs made to the irrigation system and stop the water flow. Contractor caused substantial damage to the brick apron abuting the project resulting in hundreds of dollars to repair the damage and then walked away. Contractor did not return numerous telephone calls over a more than reasonable period of time.

Desired Settlement: I plan to bring legal action to recover all costs associated with the damage this Contractor caused and the costs to complete the project that was left unfinished. I will contact the Internal Revenue Service to notify them of the cash payment requirement and to cause them to investigate if this is a "one-off situation" or an onging scheme to avoid Federal, State and Local income tax. I will persue with authorites to the extent of the law.
