Complaint: "BAD MERCHANDISE!!!!! I ordered two pairs of Levi's from Super Casuals. Paid for retail price. When I got them I couldn't believe it. Very cheap material. Missing labels and tags. Sewn wrong. Only one of the pants says Levi's on the small red tag on the back. Other has the small red tag with only a R on it and no Levis. Horrible stitching errors all over the pants. These jeans are not Levi's and horrible imitation knock offs. Contacted the store. Sent them pictures and they claim their merchandise is real and I can return them minus the 10% restock fee and my shipping cost. So I can return their non Levi's and get the money back for only one pair pretty much. Went to my bank and getting charges reversed. BEWARE THEY ARE SELLING IMPOSTOR GOODS!!!!!!!"

Desired Settlement: Them to be shut down for selling fake goods on the internet.

Business Response:

The Levi's carpenter jeans (2 pair style # 22077 Size 34x34) are first quality and authentic.  We have been authorized Levi's account for over 50 years. The jeans were purchased by us directly from the Levi's company. We have emailed this customer several times explaining our return policy. We have offered him a full refund. No mention of a 10% restock charge or the loss of his shipping charge was ever made. The customer was offered a "full" refund he just needed to send  both pairs of pants back to us. The customer refuses to send the jeans back for a full and immediate  refund and has filed a chargeback with his bank. The customer now has the jeans and has refused payment.

The jeans were sent with ALL appropriate hang tags attached. These hang tags included the Levi's logos, the style number and the bar code indicating the style number. The jeans also included fabric tags on the inside that included the style number and the size. The customer is stating that the pants are "fake" or "imitations" and did not include proper labeling in tags. We expalained to the customer that the jeans were made by Levi's without the typical "leather like patch" on the back of the waist. The customer is also stating that one pair of the jeans does not have the word "levis" on the small red tab on the back pocket. We explained to the customer that for trademark reasons Levi's is required to leave the word "levis" off a certain number of tabs when making their jeans. This does not indicate the jeans are not authentic.

We have all appropriate documentation from Levi's proving that we are an authorized Levi's retailer in good standing. We have all the invoices and copies of order from Levi's showing we purchased the  style # 22077 carpenter jeans directly from them. We have documentation of payment of the invoice. Levi's legal department can verify our account status. Levi's can also explain how the jeans were made and the reasoning behind the Red Tab trademark.

The customer has now taken to public forums to insist the jeans we sold him are fake after we have made every attempt to explain and offer full reimbursement to his credit card. We believe this is pure libel and defamation. His statements on public forums are patently false and they cause harm to our reputation. We are contacting not only Levi's legal department but our own attorneys.

The customer's claims are false and unfounded. He is now in possession of 2 pairs of jeans on which he has refused payment with his bank. We expect this complaint to be settled promptly and in our favor because the of the customer's irrational claims and refusal to adhere to accepted and standard return policies.

We have copies of the emails sent to the customer from us and documentation from Levi's. We will provide these upon request.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** *******, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
