BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: Kevin Kirk of K-Bar resotration collected $500 for materials for home repair and failed to show up to do the work or even deliver the materials. Kevin Kirk of K-Bar Restoration collected $500 for materials for home repair and failed to show up to do the work or even deliver the materials. The job was contracted in early July over text messages. This was a repair of damage over my entry which left the entry exposed to water infiltration during rainstroms. Kevin personally collected the check, and failed multiple times to come perform the work on dates that he personally set. After well over 1 month of unanswered calls and texts, I made other arrangements to have th area repaired. At one point, I even called from another phone number to contact him, and sure enough he picked up and was surprised to hear it was me. He has agreed over text to send me the money now at least twice. The first time he told me he would send the check was September 10 and the last time on September 29 after I informed him I was filing with BBB. In summary,. he collected $500 for materials for a repair, never showed up to do the work, and never even delivered the materials. The materials are no longer required because I had to have the repair accomplished form another source. After promising a month ago to refund the $500, I still have not received the refund. Kevin Kirk's phone number is 918-938-8866
Desired Settlement: $500 return of the money collected to purchase materials.
