BBB of Southern Arizona is offering its “How to Sell on eBay” course Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the BBB office, 434 S. Williams Blvd. Ste. 102. Registration is $50 and includes all class materials and post class support.
Course instructor Mary Friedrichs, who is a local branch manager for M&I bank, says having a successful eBay business isn’t difficult, it’s just a matter of knowing where to start, how to protect yourself against fraud, and figuring out what items will ultimately make you money.
“It's really exciting to buy an item for $1.98 and sell it for $30.00,” says Friedrichs, who often shops for overstocks on household items such as bathroom and bedroom sets and kitchen accessories. “It's all about choosing the right products.”
Friedrichs will share some of the items she successfully sells and provide tips for finding your own niche. The hands-on course teaches you how to set up your own store and auctions, including a list of everything you need to get started, the best way to ship and how to avoid unnecessary fees from eBay and PayPal.
Advance payment reserves your seat; call Erika Grider at BBB, 520-888-6161 or email email@example.com. BBB members pay only $25.
