Complaint Category: Failure to honor service under the terms of warranties

Complaint: a bid was accepted to replace drip front and back.
The work was 3/4 completed

The 1/4 that was not done was claimed to be pressure tested and would be warranted for 3 years.
The line has since failed and caused a great deal of
water damage and extremely high utility bills. ****
was contacted to come and give me a bid for a drain field,made an appointment and then did not show. Had he come he could have determined the problem and resolved it. I got someone else and have paid them to do the work that was not done on the original bid. The water damage extends to the inside of the house and is a considerable expense to address.

Initial Business Response
In response to *** *******'s complaint on his irrigation system...I did install new lines in his entire yard with the exception of the front courtyard.The lines looked good there. Mr. ******* agreed at the time no replacement was needed. However, I rebuilt his waterfall a few months later and I replaced the poly lines. At this time, Tucson was hit by a 5 day freeze. Hard lines broke all over town. Mr. ******* has a maintenance company in place to care for his yard. Mr. ******* indicated he had higher water bills. Apparently, his maintenance co. overlooked it for several months. Mr. ******* indicated poly lines had a split. Obviously from the freezing. Natural disasters such as "acts of nature" are not covered. I suggest his complaint should be with his maintenance co. for not checking irrigation on a regular basis. Mr. ******* should have contacted his maintenance co. when he noticed an increase in his water bill.

Complaint Resolution: Company addressed the complaint issues. The consumer failed to acknowledge acceptance to BBB.
