              In January 2024, my house at *** * ***** ***** *** ******* ** ***** has a kitchen water leakage lead to water damage to the cabinet and dry wall, causing mold. Steamy Concept came over to mitigate the water damage and mold treatment. During the disseamble of the granite countertop, they broke the countertop. Once their work is done, My insurnce company SafeCo paid them full amount of $7400 for their work. But SafeCo told me they are not responsible for the damaged granite countertop because of Steamy Concept's work. Now I have to pay myself $2400 cost for replacing it. I contact Jason Lavetter but he said SafeCo should pay for the cost. I am asking BBB to help me on resolving this dispute.

              Completely upset about my clients experience. I would not recommend Steamy Concepts. When they arrived they said if you want it really clean and pet smell removed that will cost $425. The quote to do the job was $245 via email. That didnt include removing pet smell. I said Ill remove the pet order you clean the carpet. Then via email after job I was informed they dont put their carpet cleaning under warranty unless you get the more expensive cleaning. Whatever that means. Thats outrageous & ******* wont hold up because the license requires them to stand behind their work. Anyway, very dissatisfied. Several stains, that didnt seem that bad, still visible & will have to be redone. I have a carpet cleaning machine so Ill just do it myself. I will be letting them know Im dissatisfied. Something else I thought odd. They insisted on recording our conversation while they explained their extra charge. Which stated to get it really clean & ****** wont come back, it will cost the $425. I refused and told them I expected my carpets to be clean. Thats what I called them for. I will be taking pictures of the dirty water from my cheap home carpet cleaner & send it to them. The whole process smelled like bait & switch.
