The Erie Shores Council, Boy Scouts of America works to develop the youth of Northwest Ohio into becoming life-long contributing citizens with strong character, compassion, leadership and with service to others.

We provide a variety and balance within the program, attention to the individual child, age-specific programs, caring adult leaders, parents and families welcome, and an outstanding outdoor program.

The Erie Shores Council provides Scouting programs to the youth of Northwest Ohio in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood and eastern Fulton Counties. Programs are operated by age levels incorporating outdoor activities.

Tiger Cubs & Cub Scouts - For boys ages 6-10, emphasizing involvement between boys and their parents, leaders, and friends.

Boy Scouts - For boys ages 11-17, designed to build desirable qualities of character such as self-reliance, initiative, courage and resourcefulness.

Exploring - Designed for young men and women of high school age to assist in meeting the needs, desires and concerns of the next generation of citizens.

Additional programming includes: Resident Camp, Day Camp, Child Protection, Drug Education and Latch-Key.
