BBB's Charity Symposium this year shines a spotlight on how charities can chart their impact and effectiveness.
Keynote speaker Art Taylor, president of BBB's Wise Giving Alliance, will address the five questions posed by Charting Impact, a standard framework for creating reports that enable stakeholders to easily and clearly understand the objectives, benchmarks for progress, and impact of nonprofits and foundations.
Anne Kessen Lowell, Executive Director, SouthSide Early Childhood Center, and Kristen Slaughter, Chief Operating Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, will share some of their best practices for measuring effectiveness. Kevin Drollinger, chair of BBB's Charity Information Service committee, will give an update on BBB's charity program.
This year's symposium will be from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, 1335 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131.
The cost is $35, which includes continental breakfast; $30 for a BBB Accredited Charity or $30 each for two or more from the same organization.
