BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: After a big down pour in April, I had them come out and repair a crack in the garage. They fixed that and in addition I agreed to terms to reinstall a sump pump with an outlet going into the sump pump. The sump pump has never had water in it and has been installed backwards. I cannot put the pipe into it. I have called him out to look at it and he agreed to drill a hole. The sump pump is surrounded by waterproofing material and as a consequence, we had another leak into our living quarters. I have called him and the last call I told him to drill holes in the wall and let the water go out and I'll forget about it but he will not return my calls or do anything about it. I paid him $4,200 to do things they did not accomplish. They also did not place the 4 inch pipe under our slab to discharge into the sump well.
Desired Settlement: I want a partial refund from this company.
Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2014/10/16) */ Ms. ******* please find attached a copy of the letter that was sent to the Attorney General's office on October 8th. I removed their address from the letter, but the body is unchanged. As I stated on the phone, Mr. ********'s complaint has been satisfied. We do still maintain that we didn't cause the cracks in his basement to leak, and they are in fact on the other side of the house and many feet below the waterproofing and sump pump that we did repair. As far as his claims that his sump pump is installed incorrectly, that simply isn't true, it just isn't getting water to it because the waterproofing that was done stopped the water from getting into his house. It's unfortunate that he began having leaking into another area of his house, but he wasn't ignored as he stated, in fact we offered to do the crack repair at a discounted rate because he is a valued customer, but he was convinced that the leaking was a result of us stopping the water from the other side of the house. He did end up contacting another company to repair the cracks, and that is the money we agreed to refund him, as a courtesy to a valued customer. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you, ******* *****
