|Customer Review Experience||Value|

Complaint: Contracted them to waterproof basement.they finished before the fourth of July Over the weekend there were a series of showers. Eighteen hours after the last shower. I checked the basement and there was water and moisture on the floor. They told me and the city confirmed that the water from the sump pump should not be discharged through the house sewerage system That is exactly what they did. They also used rubber gaskets to make the connections When they fail And they will It will dump the household sewerage into the basement The paper work they gave me showed a process of taking the sump pump discharge out of the basement to a outside french drain located outside and directed to the street.They also contracted to put cement outside along a crack at the foundation. They did put some caulk. However the entered other side was ignored. As an extra they charged me 350.00 for four bricks. Claiming this would stop the mud from flowing on the floor. The owner showed up on Friday before the job was finished. Wanting me to write a check for the balance. Claiming he had payroll to meet. In the beginning he told me I could use a credit card without the 4% surcharged. On Friday is when he came up with the three fifty for four bricks. He was rude and unprofessional.
Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.
This job was contracted June 16, 2016 and completed June 24, 2016 at the total cost of $5,900.00. The customer was originally told, and contract states that there is 4% surcharge added for use of credit cards as payment. The owner told him that he would accept deposit $1,800.00 on visa with no surcharge but to have another form of payment for completion otherwise we would have to add the 4% onto balance and this was agreed on until June 24th when balance of $3,500.00 was due then customer did not want to pay the 4% surcharge, so this is what arguement stemmed from.
The customer was given extra electric at no charge and the crew skimmed the basement walls where large pock marks where at no extra charge, however $350.00 was added for the extra brick work and customer paid this. The customer even tipped the workers on June 24th for the good job!
No french drain to run pump discharge to was ever mentioned or contracted, our crew ran the new pump exactly where his existing pump was located originally and customer was aware of this.
When customer reported to you that basement leaked after the holiday weekend rain he never called us, we even went back through the caller I.D. to see if he attempted to call, since the office was closed July 4th weekend, and no such call had been made.
We are perfectly willing to return and make any corrections necessary to full fill our warranty and contract.
