Complaint: I completed an application for a rental property, upon completion and presenting it to A&B Management, I was asked to present additional paperwork before approval. I submitted that paperwork in a timely manner (within days of asking), and was told after this paperwork would be submitted that "I would be approved." Thereafter, after both emailing and stopping by their office I never received any clear communication about my application or about the next phase of the process. After driving by the property I saw the FOR RENT signed had been removed, I then waited a week to see if perhaps they would get in touch with me either via email or by phone. I have since not received any response regarding my application.

Desired Settlement: There really is no way to settle this dispute, it is clear however, that A&B Management is forming a habit where they simply decide not to communicate with individuals regarding their rental applications. Having to sit around waiting for some sort of confirmation of my application weather that be for or against my favor, some kind of communication is necessary in order for me to continue making plans regarding my living situation.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/03/16) */ We spoke today, her an her husband applied for a duplex we had. It was difficult to do a background check and our 24 hour process ended up taking a few days. We give it to the first qualified application. They got back to us and it was no longer available. I will refund their application fee. I explained to the consumer if they need a rental in the future don't hesitate to call. We would be happy to work with them.
