Types of Complaints Handled by BBB

BBB Complaint Process
Your complaint will be forwarded to the business within two business days. The business will be asked to respond within 14 days, and if a response is not received, a second request will be made. You will be notified of the business's response when we receive it (or notified that we received no response). Complaints are usually closed within 30 business days.

Complaint: On 4/7/16 the company came out. We have done business with this company twice before and didn't have a problem. He tried to snake the drain from the kitchen. My husband asked him to go to the basement and start from there. The plumber said no because he wasn't going to ruin his equipment. He said he would have to take the whole wall out and put a new pipe in and it would cost $1800. I told him to let us think it over and we would let him know. He said okay well feel free to pick another plumber. We then decided to go with someone else and he solved this issue like my husband asked from the basement and it was no problem, and total cost was $102. We then get a bill for $208. I don't feel we should have to pay this outrageous amount for the man coming out and not doing the service we asked. I called the office and the woman I spoke to said I definitely had a refund coming and she would get back to me, but never did. Two weeks later the check cleared. I sent a letter about this on 4/14 and never got anything back. They also did work previously and told me they had a permit for the stack replacement in the bathroom and I asked for a copy of that and still have not received it.
Desired Settlement: I would like my refund for $208, they promised a refund coming to me, but I have yet to receive anything. I also request the permit for the stack replacement.
