October 2019 we signed a contract with Schilli Plastering Company to redo our octagon shaped in ground pool - the pool was to be drained, tile & coping removed, hyrdo-blast prep, install new glass tile& brick coping, caulk coping to deck and Oasis Pebble Brilliance application to swimming pool. Also the deck surface was prepped, cracks repaired and ******* applied. Work was started in June 2020 and finished in July 2020. In June 2021 Schilli was contacted concerning cracking on pool deck area - pool is octagon shaped (eight sides) - original coping was replaced by Schilli in a different configuration - leaving open spaces - Schilli filled these open spaces with material and then applied the cool deck coating - all eight of these corners cracked allowing moisture to get behind the coping. Schilli was sent pictures and after inspecting the damage (****** at Schilli advised that the material used was not installed properly) agreed to return and repair the problem - in September 2021 the repairs were made and new cool deck coating was applied. When pool cover was removed in May 2022 the cracks were back - also whatever material was used to fill the open areas in September 2021 was crumbling. **** at Schilli was contacted and requested that pictures be sent to him - May 17th 5 pictures were sent to **** - May 18th additional pictures were sent to **** showing showing new cracking was the same as previous repaired cracking. On May 26th an email was sent to **** as he had not responded to the previous emails. Around the 10th of June, **** was finally contacted via phone and when asked what was needed to correct the problem, he advised that we needed to have a new concrete deck installed and Schilli did not install those. There is nothing wrong with our concrete deck - the only problem that we have is how Schilli installed the coping - leaving large areas that had to be filled with material that continues to crack allowing moisture to get behind the coping..
