Approximately 2 weeks ago, we spoke with *** who seemed very friendly. He stated he was sending a contractor to survey work to be done. On day of appointment, Contractor was a no show no call at assigned time per ***. To be sure he was coming, I called *** who then stated his contractor had to complete load then would call with ETA. Contractor never phoned but showed up 1/2 hour from scheduled appointment. Please know that *** did not originally say to give them 1 hour for ETA. Upon contractor's arrival, he seemed very defensive. He did not state who he was, had no name tag, and defensively said with his head down that he is here to look at work repairs. Now originally, *** stated their first step is to conduct a survey. *** seemed very friendly and helpful. Sadly, the contractor made this visit about not providing his first and/or last name. We introduced ourselves to him and he followed with his name is ***** and his last name is irrelevant. We just wanted to know who's working on the house. Also, it seems once we asked *** about payment process, their treatment towards me changed. I could not believe the treatment we received. I'm still crying about it. God please help us.

WE regret any miscommunication between our Company and the Mays during our attempt to provide a FREE deck survey as requested. Our Carpenter felt he had clearly identified himself at time of his arrival and why he was on site. Regretfully, he felt uncomfortable when the client continued to push at him for more information on himself and not the company since he was only on site to perform a FREE deck survey to confirm tasks to be completed for pricing. Our Carpenter left the job site prior to completing the deck survey. There was no change in perception on pricing with the client except when they called the morning of the scheduled site visit making it clear they were not going to pay in advance for the work. We reminded Mrs. *** we were on site for a FREE deck survey and until this was completed there was no pricing or payment terms to review. Again our apologies for any miscommunications between the **** and our Company.
