    On May 17th, my wife, two dogs and I were traveling across the country when our boat trailer lost a caliper and severed a brake line. Stranded, I went to these guys for help to see if they could help me out and get me back on the road. They said they could not help me because they had customers waiting on their boats to be serviced. I pleaded with them to help me as I told them I was stranded and traveling across the country with my wife and two dogs. I told them if I were their customer, I would understand having my service delayed to help out somebody that was stranded. They said, they had customers that were waiting to get their boats, and it would be 4 weeks before they could help me. They told me they understood my situation but they could not help me. I'm not sure how they rate with the BBB, but this is certainly not the way to treat people.

    This person did come into our store and request emergency service. We explained that they may need specific parts for their brake repair on their trailer, which may or may not be in our stock. We stated that our shop was already overloaded and was running behind trying to get our customers prepared for the upcoming memorial day weekend. We apologized and did refer him to a, trailer specific, repair shop on the other side of our town. We have 8 technicians in our shop and are constantly searching for additional qualified technicians to staff up our service department ,in order to satisfy our regular customer base. I am not so sure that our customers would feel obligated to forfeit their weekend, to someone that had not properly serviced their trailer, and had an emergency break down. I am sorry we could not put off our regular customers to help this person however, I believe the trailer service business, that we referred to this person could accommodate him.
