              On 5/5/22, I took my 2017 Subaru WRX STI with roughly 65,000 miles on it to Effingham tire and auto for an oil change. Around 5/12 my check engine light illuminated and the engine was misfiring, so I took my car back to Effingham Tire and Auto. On 5/15 they returned my car to me (not fixed) that they could not fix it, but it was okay to drive until I could take it to the Subaru dealership on 5/18. On 5/17 I drove my vehicle to work, after work I started my vehicle and backed up when I realized a large puddle of oil was under my car. I then had my vehicle towed to the Subaru dealership. Both the Subaru dealership and my extended warranty company deemed the cause faulty maintenance preformed on the car. The result of this fault is roughly $12,500. I have been a loyal customer to this shop ever since I moved to Illinois, all work and maintenance done to any of my vehicles has been completed by Effingham Tire.

              We were recently traveling through the Effingham area with a brand new truck. We broke down on I-70 with a massive coolant leak. I called three other repair shops, told them we were broke down and they said 'we can get to you next week sometime.' It was about 45 degrees with a 25 MPH wind. I asked the other repair shops 'can you please just look at it so I can call the dealer to try to figure out a solution?' They would not even look under the hood. I called Effingham Tire and ***** answered. He said 'we are pretty busy but if you can get it here then we will fit it in and get you on the road if possible.' They worked ** in, found the problem, fixed it and we were back on the road in under three hours for under $200. They could have taken advantage of me knowing I was 400 miles from home and they would probably never see me again. But they were honorable.
