DEC 21 2023 PURCHASED USED 2017 TOYOTA tacoma TRD Sport. The salesman said we would get the ************* Package included. A warranty for 6 months. We negotiated $500 off the asking price. When he brought the paperwork out to us he had added $895 to selling price. Said that was price of the ************* package. We asked numerous times for it to be removed. Because at that time we had purchased the warranty package they offered for $3999 for 5 years. So we would be double paying for a warranty. He said it was the law. Then they changed it to it was company policy that we had to pay for it. He said what would it look like if we didn't charge you and another customer found out. Wouldn't be fair. Well it's not fair to be double charged for a warranty. We do not and did not want that warranty. Then to find out it's for 3 months only instead of the 6 months they said. Also they charged us $1829.53 for sales tax they added to the financing for ******** sales tax. We asked how are we to pay our taxes when you have the money. His response was when you pay your sales tax in ******** come back and we will cut you a check for that amount. In the meantime we have cancelled $3999. ******** and got another one on our own. Still waiting on paperwork to pay sales tax. I feel they owe us $895. We will eventually get the sales tax money.
