BBB Accredited Business FAQ

With so many exciting things happening at your BBB, you might have some questions. We’ve got some answers:

Have the BBB standards changed, and will my business have to reapply for BBB accreditation?

No. BBB accreditation standards have not changed and you will not have to reapply. However, as we always do, we will continue to evaluate them and look for ways to make them more valuable for you and your customers.

What does "accredit" mean?

Accreditation is what your business has achieved and what it stands for. To receive our seal, you underwent a review process and contractually agreed to adhere to BBB’s high standards. You are part of an elite group and deserve to be recognized accordingly.

When and how will I receive my new seal and other materials to use as displays and in advertising?

New seals, plaques and other materials will be sent to your place of business over time. Please continue using your current BBB seals, plaques and other materials until you receive the new ones. Soon you will be receiving the new BBB seal for proud display at your place of business.
