Unauthorized up charge and use of credit card.
I purchased a puppy from C&J Cockers/ for ******* (Invoice ****** The puppy cost ******* and the transportation was ******** The invoice was paid in full online with a credit card on July 30, 2015. Immediately, *** *********/ responded with instructions including a transportation report with an August 22, 2015 arrival date. This all took place on July 30, 2015. Everything was set.

Then on August 21, three weeks later, on the day before the puppy was to be sent, he used my credit card to up charge me an additional ******* for transportation. He did not ask my permission or attempt to discuss any changes in charges. In fact, I found out about it, after opening an email he sent after he had already done it. If there was to be any changes in the contract invoice price, he had plenty of time to inform me. He did this at the last minute.

The price of the puppy went from ******* to ********* I was not given the opportunity to discuss the additional charges. And they were made without my permission.

I want to be reimbursed the unauthorized amount of ******* that was charged against my credit card.

Desired Settlement
I would like to receive the ******* that he charged to my credit account.

The 10 week old cocker we purchased was found to be ill when checked by the vet within 3 days (as required by agreement). Notified business.
The 10 week old cocker we purchased was found to be ill when checked by the vet within 3 days (as required by agreement). Notified business immediately, supplying check up and vet notes, medication, pictures of puppies condition etc. requesting some share cost of the bills, after 2 weeks no contact regarding determination from business. The business (breeder) advertises, both written and verbally that their cockers are delivered free from illness, and hail their 20 year record as such. Paid through paypal $*** dollars on 11-19-14 Invoice #********. This condition has already required $****** with more to come if the condition is not remedied by treatment.

Desired Settlement
Willing to compromise with the business to settle for vet costs rather than full refund, but with the business avoiding contact, or a willingness to compromise I am forced to continue escalation of this matter.

I spoke to this customer. at the time the puppy had an allergic reaction to unknown substance, etc. The Their Vet had no idea what caused it and offered an ideological diagnosis. (Meaning they have no idea) In review of our medical history of over 4000 puppies in over 25 years of raising dogs we have NEVER once seen or experienced this condition.

As part of our wellness program which is quite extensive, the puppy had a complete physical examination prior to leaving by*** ****** and was certified to be in perfect condition.

Since no one knows what the potential cause is. we have agreed in concert with the owner dating back to the initial finding of no fault. However in the spirit of our concern for the puppy and excellent customer service we did offer to share in the expenses. The Buyers have not provided any information to the cost or further indication of cause since mid December.


We did speak with the customer today. Nothing has changed from our prior communications.
