In late August I requested that My Auto Service perform a repair on the fuel pumps on front/rear tank on my 1994 F-250 XL. The truck was returned in disrepair: the dashboard was removed and parts missing, power to the rear tank fuel pump was removed, the cabin fuel tank switch was dissembled, a new battery was destroyed beyond repair and had to be replaced, electrical issues with multiple systems are now present on the truck (windshield wipers, washer fluid, radio, CB radio, etc), and severe internal damage was done to the engine. The My Auto Service employee stated that they used "break cleaner" to run the engine to move the truck into the shop. Further inspection has found several bent rods and destroyed valves after the truck was in the care of My Auto Service due to the use of break cleaner as fuel. Upon filling up my front tank, gasoline poured out of the top of the fuel tank making the truck unsafe to operate. My Auto Service was responsible for the assembly of the front fuel tank and replacement of the fuel pump to industry standards, which in its current state is inoperable. I request a reimbursement of the services charged and reasonable compensation for damage done to the vehicle.
