Complaint The car I bought doesn't worth even the penny From the first day I bought the car I'm having major problems as defected steering wheel, makes squicking noises everywhere, scratches on side door , roof and hood. The car out of balance, drives horrible after driving a thousand miles, they know about the problem, but the car only two weeks old, it is a brand new car I expected to get a brand car not a junk, the service is horrible, very poor, like they sold me car and it is now your problea not greeting not calling back. Horrible... The car worth about around 20000 it is a lot of money and I was hoping to get a new car instead of that I'm having headache with this junk. The only good thing it get a good gas mileage.
Desired Settlement I want to take this car back! No questions.
Business Response Contact Name and Title: ******* ******, CFO Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *******@towbinauto.com Thank you for allowing us to respond to the consumers response. It is unfortunate that the consumer is unhappy with his FIAT purchase. Unfortunately, 2+ months after his purchase, we are unable to accept the vehicle back. He has executed a retail installment contract with a lending provider and his vehicle has been titled and registered. It appears that he may have some claims that are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Chrysler/FIAT also has a consumer line that he can report his assertions and request their assistance. We sell the vehicles within a franchise agreement with the manufacturer but do not manufacturer them. Manufacturer defects are covered within the vehicles manufacturer warranty and both federal and state law provide remedies if the manufacturer does not honor the warranty or the vehicle qualifies under the lemon laws. Unfortunately, the liability lies with the manufacturer at this point. As to his claims of scratches, the vehicle was inspected with him when delivered. Regardless, had he brought any of those issues to our attention within the first couple of weeks of purchase, we would have remedied them.
