Our Excellence in Customer Service gala event is rapidly approaching, and our auction has already begun online. Gift certificates ranging from the practical to the luxurious are available for immediate bidding, and more online items and sneak-peek previews of the auction items that will be present at the EICS event are being added daily. You can visit www.tinyurl.com/2010BBBAuction
to get started.
Proceeds from the auction support the BBB’s Foundation, which is dedicated to outreach programs in our community to educate our seniors, our military personnel and teens. Please pass the word along to family, friends and customers in support of this worthy cause. We are still accepting items for the auction until September 16th, and cash donations are welcome at any time.
The BBB’s EICS program was created to give companies the opportunity to analyze and then improve their customer service process. Working with trained, independent evaluators, EICS applicants in southern Colorado undergo a rigorous self inventory. When the process is complete, all participants receive a comprehensive feedback report from the evaluators with recommendations on how to improve their internal operations.
Those companies that have proven outstanding customer services systems will be recognized at the EICS dinner on September 17, at the DoubleTree Hotel – World Arena in Colorado Springs.
The day's events include:
- an afternoon seminar with Vicki Hitzges to teach you vital skills you can use to build relationships that last at 3:00 p.m.
- a book signing with Karl Mecklenburg at 4:30 p.m.
- a silent auction
- dinner with a keynote address by Karl Mecklenburg
- the BBB Foundation scholarship, GE Johnson Award for Marketplace Ethics and EICS Award presentations
