I have contacted the hotel several times to have one of the charges reversed. As of this date, a credit has not appeared on my credit card. I stayed at the hotel on January 13, 2014.

Reverse the additional charge as a crfedit on my credit card.

Hotel Eleganté is currently taking every possible opportunity to remedy the unfortunate mistaken charge as reported by Mr. ******.

The guest stayed at the hotel for (1) night on January 13 and was inaccurately charged twice for his room, an overcharge of $93.74. We have identified the source of the error- much of which revolves around the reservation method through a 3rd party OTA site, and are working to immediately remedy this concern.

The guest initially contacted the hotel on Saturday, January 25 to discuss the situation and request a refund for this overcharge. That same day, the hotel immediately requested the refund back to his card which takes approximately 72 hours to process prior to being requested by the banking institution- a process which can take an additional 5-10 business days, depending on the institution. On January 29th, the guest called and spoke with the General Manager who assured the guest that the refund request had been made and was waiting to be approved by the guest's banking institution; this is the same day the guest filed the complaint with the BBB.

Monday, February 3 an associate of Hotel Eleganté spoke with Mr. ****** in follow-up on the status of the refund from his bank. Unfortunately, the guest had not yet received the refund from the bank; therefore, the associate requested information from Mr. ****** to attempt to call the banking institution to expedite the refund process. After speaking with the banking institution, we are assured that the refund will be placed onto Mr. ******'s account no later than Friday, February 7th and possibly sooner if Mr. ****** can call the bank to verify personal information.

Upon request we would be happy to provide ample documentation to support the facts stated above.
We value Mr. ******'s business and equally look forward to a swift resolution to this concern.
