Date of transaction 6/13 and 6/14, on 6/13 i presented my car a 2006 ****** Tribeca with ******* miles for a diagnosis. Radiator seemed clogged and was spewing out antifreeze. Paid ***** for the diagnosis. Rich ********** stated afterwards that the radiator needed to be flushed, overflow tank needed to be cleaned and a new cap was to be put on the reservoir he stated they topped off my oil as it was low. The quote for that work to be done was for $245.00, I agreed to have that done and on 6/14 dropped it off for the service. They had the car all day and around 230pm i called to ask for information. Spoke with Rich who informed me they were having trouble bleeding the radiator but it shouldn't be much longer. At 3:47 he called to ask if i had driven my car while it was overheating and i said no that the gauge would go above mid temp about two bars and immediately go back down and that was normal and the car never ran hot. He said well now you have a blown head gasket and you can fix it but it'll be more than ***** to do so, then stated it wasn't guaranteed that would fix it as there is probably cracks under the top of the engine. He stated there was water in the oil but none of that was mentioned the day before when they topped off my oil. When i arrived to pick up the car he said the mechanic kept going further and further on academy but had to turn around as it started to overheat. So was the mechanic driving it around while it was overheating? Clearly he just admitted to doing so. He stated he'd produce an estimate for costs if i went that route but when i went to pay for the services he just gave me a receipt of the services provide and i left. I feel as if my car was ruined and now I'm out money and no vehicle.
