Complaint: They charged my account twice same month. I called several times to inquire about the billing. They said they would call me back. I have not heard from them In the month of June. On June 3 or 4 they took two payments one of $248. and $151.
Desired Settlement: Refund of the extra payment they took from my checking account.
Business Response: Business' Initial Response /* (1000, 6, 2013/06/13) */ ****** ******** has been a customer for several months and is set up on a automatic credit/debit card payment made on the first of every month AFTER the work has been completed. Recently she added a second yard for us to maintain for her. I believe the communication between my accountant and I is where the problem came in. ****** was charged for both the yards on one charge and then charged for the initial yard again. ****** called the work phone and spoke with my wife about doing the refund. I try to make it my practice to get back with customer ASAP but with this being an extremely busy time of year I did forget to call her back. The next day she called 5 times in a short period of time while the phone was on charge. I did call her back immediately and informed her I would issue a refund that day. She was very upset about the extra charge causing her account to go into the negative and charged her overdraft fees. I also offered to refund her the overdraft fees. She said she didn't a refund on that. She did tell me to stop maintaining her properties and that she would find someone else. Although I did lose her as a customer I also told her I would not be charging for work already done this month. I felt I went above and beyond to try and satisfy her and to keep a customer. I tell all my customers and employees that I know will have mistakes and run across problems from time to time. Its how we deal with them that will help us to surpass *** competitors.
