Complaint: A employee of the hotel who works the front desk of the hotel gave a room key to someone not authorized for the specific room. I was staying in the hotel. A person obtained a room key at 3:00 am from the frost desk. That person then tried to open my door. Thankfully, my hotel room door was also "hinged" locked. The door was open, but was only open a few inches due to the "bolted hinge." Needless to say, my wife and I were awoken to people trying to gain entry to our room (thinking it was someone else's room).

Desired Settlement: I have yet to receive any phone call or email back explaing exactly what in, how this person received a key to my room at 3:00 in the morning. I never received an apology that morning from the front desk staff. I notified two managers at the Elegante Hotel via email. It took two emails for them to finally respond with "we are looking into it..." Obviously, they don't feel the need to care about their customer's safety at the hotel. My desired outcome: I stayed for two nights. A one, or two, night refund would be desired. In my opinion, this should have been the result the next morning after I alerted the staff as to what happened.
