            I referred to Meineke at **** ********* ******* ********* ** ***** to have my AC condenser replaced. I was told by ******** **** ***** to buy the AC condenser (paid $137.48) from **************. Sept 22: gave Meineke the AC condenser and dropped off my car. September 24th: went to Meineke to pick up my car and was informed by *** ****** that "after installing the AC condenser in the car, the quick connect fitting will not stay clipped in, line clips fine into OEM condenser." I was also informed that they would not do any further work until they got the right part. Sept 28: I pick up my car and was charged $742.69 despite the AC condenser not being fixed. This also included the wasted freon they put in my car despite knowing that the quick connect fitting will not stay clipped in.

            BEWARE! I took my 2016 Land Rover in to have the brakes replaced. I supplied the parts for the project because the owner said that it would be easier. I took my car in to have it diagnosed and parts put on. After their “master mechanic” looked at the vehicle they called and gave me the price to fix the issues with the brakes. What I thought was a pretty decent price for the job. I agreed, they had the parts put on the same day. They called and told me that they were unable to reset my brake light warning light due to my gps on my car. They told me that I had to go to the dealership to have the light reset. I didn’t mind at first until I talked to the dealership and they told me that they had never heard of such a thing and that they didn’t replace the brake pad sensors. My wife called the shop and talked to the swindling owner that tried to blame us for not supplying the sensors. I then later talk to the owner after months of driving with a brake light warning light on that should have been fixed when they fixed the brakes. I approached the conversation hoping to have the parts put on at a discount. The owner decided it was best to get defensive about the mistake and blame it on me. I am confused at this point because I am not a certified mechanic and do not know what parts to buy for my car, I simply trust that a certified mechanic knows what they are doing and will complete all jobs correctly. I did not receive any call or notification that I needed to replace my sensors, something a true mechanic would know to do when replacing brakes on a Land Rover. I expected that the owner would acknowledge the mistake and offer to fix the problem at a discount. Not this owner, he finds it in his best interest to pass blame onto the customer that knows nothing about cars and has an extremely unprofessional conversation with that customer. I do not recommend this business based on my experience and highly recommend avoiding this business at all costs. Supposedly he has been in business for thirty years and frankly this is concerning to me thinking of all of the other cars they have worked on without intent of fixing them properly.
