Additional Notes

Complaint: Our window at **** Burlington are not installed properly and will not pass * windstorm inspection. We were told after the fact that Mr ********* should have had an inspector come out as the windows were being installed. We have had two professionals tell us many of the defaults.

Desired Settlement: We want them fixed properly or a full refund. We also want to go through a mediator, as Mr ********* says one thing one day and something else the next. Very confusing.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response /* (1000, 13, 2013/05/29) */ I was willing to replace windows that did not operate to their satisfaction, which totaled 5 in the front, 2 in the back. I wrote up a contract to show what I was to do. According to original contract no windstorm or painting. He had a contractor, they're working on the house to do all painting. I never ever said I would provide windstorm. After sending contract through fax to **** I was hung up on twice. At this point because of back surgery and being off work I do not have money on hand. I am willing to pay by the month to refund the money charged for these windows which totals (7 windows X $187.50) = $1312.50. I am sorry for all the trouble and would appreciate the opportunity to resolve this. **** L. ********* Consumer's Final Response /* (-5, 16, 2013/06/07) */ Consumer supplied email: ************ Business' Final Response /* (4000, 21, 2013/07/01) */ The Mediation Center let the BBB know that the business contacted them stating that they have recently had additional communication with the consumers and are trying to resolve. However; if they are unable to resolve, the mediation has been rescheduled for July 11th. Note from BBB: If this issue is not resolved. BBB Arbitration is also an option. Please contact ************ at XXX-XXXX ext. 103 for additional information.
