Additional Complaint Information
Our file contains a pattern of complaints from consumers who state they receive OSHA compliance packages from Federal Safety Compliance as well as a bill for $269.50. These consumers state they have never ordered any products from Federal Safety Compliance. In some cases, consumers have stated that Federal Safety Compliance has called their business to solicit the OSHA compliance kit to verify their business address, but no order is placed. Shortly after this phone call, an OSHA compliance package arrives from Federal Safety Compliance along with the bill for $269.50. The complaints inform BBB that the employee(s) who answered these phone calls are not authorized to make and purchases or orders.
Federal Safety Compliance responds to some consumer complaints with an explanation of their verification process and by voiding the outstanding invoice, while other complaints go unanswered.
On, February 11, 2013, BBB sent certified correspondence to Federal Safety Compliance requesting their voluntary cooperation in resolving complaints on file with BBB and providing steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints; however, BBB has not received a response from the company and complaints containing similar allegations have continued to be filed with BBB.
