Our files contain a pattern of complaints from consumers that allege they signed up for a free trial online and only provided their credit card information to pay for shipping and handling, however; consumers state that in many cases their cards are charged for $99-$300 prior to the trial ending. Consumers state once they realize they have been charged they reach out to JG Direct, LLC. They are then informed that they agreed to the free trial and that they signed up for a monthly membership auto-renewal as well. Once they inform JG Direct, LLC they wish to cancel and request a refund, they're informed that the refund will only be 25% of the purchase price and will not be processed until after the next 2 billing cycles.
JG Direct, LLC responds to these complaints by apologizing as well as explaining their terms and conditions. The consumers are then contacted so they may reach an amicable resolution.
On February 27, 2014 BBB sent correspondence JG Direct, LLC requesting their voluntary cooperation in resolving complaints on file with BBB and providing steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints.
As of April 7, 2014 JG Direct, LLC has not responded to BBB;s concerns.
