Complaint I had an appointment to get my cable, internet and phone installed. No one showed up, and no one called. No response I had an appointment to get my internet, phone and cable TV and no one showed up, no one called. I called Charter and they said they would call back, but no one did. This was really rude, since I took two hours off work.
Desired Settlement They should not charge for the installation, if they ever get it installed. The fee is about $65.
Complaint Cable company refusing to reimburse for 4 months of no service. Discontinued services and they are continuing to bill. I have had service with ******* for nearly 2 years for cable alone my bill every month was $103. I have never missed or been late on a payment. The service had many errors and 'on demand' rarely worked. I travel a lot for business and my husband is a sheriff that works evenings so the 'on demand' was the main purpose of our service. In March of 2014 the company had altered our connection without notifying us and the services were completely suspended. Because of my family's schedule we were unable to have a technician come to our home until July 2014. The technician informed us that we should have been contacted when the changes were made. I called the customer service because I see it only fit for them to credit the account due to there lack of communication and tampering with our service without consent from us. They offered me a $10. credit. I asked them to please discontinue our services. They since then have discontinued but are still billing me. I feel this is a very poor way to treat customers, especially those that have been loyal and paid over $2,000.00 for their cable services in less than 2 years.
Desired Settlement I am requesting a refund for the 5 months of not having services ($515.00), my deposit I put down at the time I started service, & any additional charges the company has placed with my bank since I have requested to discontinue on July 10th.
Complaint company has been contacted on several occasions to have temp service cable buried . all calls have went with out resolve or a contact back.
Temp line has been ran over 500 feet and across two neighbors yards since the begining of December took several attemps to get this completed as well three different install crews before this could be completed . I have a graduation party for my daughter and do not need 300 people tripping over this line strung over my entire front yard.I have contacted your company several times 7-8 in the last two weeks about getting this done before the event I have scheduled with no response form your company .However I do get 3-5 calls a week asking me to up my service with charter ???? You cant complete a job ,call back a customer which I have been told by your employees is company policy??? Nor complete a inatall in less than six months .The worst customer service I have ever been invloved with .
Desired Settlement To have this temp cable buried before the event at this property and to be credited for the service recieved during the first six months with ypour company temp cable internet and phone fail on regular basis due to routing of temp cable
Complaint Poor response to concerns and complaints, still having issues and billing issues. Credits not applied, now say I owe with not explanation Poor service, tv signal continues to scramble. Raised my internet rate prior to even 1 year when agreement was for 2, have since adjusted but made no effort to compensate for 7 months at higher rate. Now after 3 reps telling me I only owe a set amount, they say I owe an additional $115.61 from Dec. No credits have been applied to my account that were promised in last 4 months.
Desired Settlement Was willing to accept $120 credit but now I want 6 months of service at their cost/free and ensure that the tv signal is clear and doesn't scramble on any of my tvs. Replace the pedestal outside.
Complaint will not provide a buyout that they promised us of up to $200 for cancelation of old tv provideer When we signed up for charter tv were told by the representative that they would pay out up to $200 to cancel our old provider. We were not told we had to have the triple play that they are now stating that we need in order to get the buyout of $200. When I contacted Charter, they did have that information in my account that I was promised the buyout. I have tried several times to contact Charter and they have not been able to resolve my issue nor have they been able to put me in contact with the people who do the buyout. I have personally emailed the buyout team and have had Charter representatives do the same and I have still not been contacted.
Desired Settlement I am seeking the $200 that I was promised over the phone by Charter sales and that was documented in my account
Complaint I have been wanting to change services but they won't make any changes without information from my statement, which I am not receiving. After my first year promotional period with phone and internet service, I wanted to remove my phone service. I made several calls to customer service and, they all tell me that I need to give them a "pin" number or my account number from my billing statement. I never set up any PIN with them and, my bill is on autodraft so they haven't sent me any paper or electronic bills to retrieve this information. When I called to request an email copy of my bill, so I could get my account number or, so called PIN, they said that that is not an option because they don't have the ability to do that. While sitting at work today, they suggested that I go to a local office to get a copy of my statement (but I would still need my account number to receive it). I, obviously, couldn't leave work to do this. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. And, on top of it all, I continue to pay for phone service that I have been trying for a few months to have removed.
Desired Settlement I want my next months bill to reflect a credit equal to the amount that i've paid for phone service since the end of the yearly promotional period. Another promotion for a years worth of internet service would be appreciated, as well, for having to deal with the ridiculous customer "service".
Complaint The sale man that came to my home and sold a package that they don't even offer and no one will help at charter this has been going on for 30 days In January ******* knock on my door and sold a deal But everything that can out was a lie he told me the first month was free no installation fee and 500 dollars sign for sign up called me to see when could install. February 3 and the crew was at my home 4 hours earlier and on the 10 I got a bill And I called ******* and charter so many times trying to figure out what is going on
