Complaint
On 12.9.2014 a service for my AC from Weather shield Air Conditioning, Inc was performed.
Technician provided untrue diagnoses.
Proposal No. XXXXX
High pressure switch was suggested to be replaced and ac unit was supposed to be bypassed ** work temporarily. I requested the visit of another technician from the same company to confirm diagnose and he did. The part with new installation was for $385.
2 days later I hired another company and stated Ac unit was perfect and no bypassed was done.
I called Weather shield to request my money, ******** from Cust Serv agreed, but they never did it.
2 weeks later I called and they said they decided not to that.

Desired Settlement
Immediate complete refund for original service paid for $130.

****** ******* contacted are company on 12/9/14 because her system was not cooling at all. A technician was dispatched the same day and diagnosed the system with a bad high pressure sensor. do to the extremely hot temperatures outside my technician bypassed *** sensor so that Ms. ******* and her family would have cool air until the part was available. Ms. ******* was not home at anytime during my technicians inspection. The person that was home we believe was her father. Once the system was bypassed and the unit started working Ms. ******* contacted me questioning the diagnosed that the technician provided. I insured her that the system was in fact diagnosed correctly and to prove to her that it was a different technician was dispatched immediately to confirm the diagnose. Once the second technician confirmed the diagnose he even went as far as showing her father exactly which part was bypassed and physically showed him what would happen if the unit was not bypassed. Once the gentlemen agreed that in fact this unit was diagnosed accurately the technician then left the unit bypassed so the unit stayed cooling and her father approved the replacement of the sensor. A few days latter I received a call from the distributor for the new sensor stating that the part was now in stock. I then contacted Ms. ******* to inform her that her part was now in stock and to schedule the installation of it. Ms. ******* did not return my call back until 2 weeks ago and the reason she contacted us was to request her money back because she hired **** ***** to double check our work and the technician concluded that the sensor was never bypassed. I agreed to reimburse her the full amount of $130.00 but needed proof that in fact a **** ***** technician is confirming that the sensor was not bypassed. Up to this point Ms. ******* has not supplied us with the invoice from **** ***** as promised. Once Ms. ******* provides us with the requested invoice from Home Depot Weathershield Air Conditioning will have no problem refunding Ms. ******* the $130.00.
