Botched grooming job and then rudely and poorly handled.
Never taking my dogs to the groomers at Mini Critters in *********** ever again. A few weeks ago I brought in my dog **** (a westie) to get a hair cut by ******. She butchered his neck and his back was very un even. Instead of calling me or saying something when I picked him up they sent him home without a word. I noticed it on the way home and called. The groomer ******, had a huge attitude blamed it on my dogs hair type. She offered to shave it down to make it even. It would have been cut so short he wouldnt have had any fur left. And with it being cold out it wasnt acceptable. I had spoken to the general manager who seemed hesitant because he said the groomers were sub contracted and he could only do so much. He seemed more worried about upsetting the groomer then taking care if a long time customer. In the end he did approve for **** to be redone in a couple weeks when his hair grew back. The groomer called me today (the day he was supposed to be redone) and left a message and very rudely told me that I had to watch her fix **** (according to her because I didnt like it, not because she screwed up even though she admitted she did the first time we talked) and to come in hours before I was supposed to. ****** at Mini Critters, she is rude and refuses take responsibility for her work by blaming others. I have saved the message for the general manager or owner if they wish to hear it. I will never ever give Mini Critters my business again.

I dont want anything but to hold the groomer and company accountable.

ADDRESSING ***** ****** COMPLAINT AGAINST MINI-CRITTERS GROOMING

**** was groomed by ****** (not ******) on ****************. Your first telephone conversation after you picked up **** was with ****** (not ******). ****** set up an appointment with you on that next Saturday morning to address your complaints and work with you to find the best haircut for ****' particular coat. Fur grows differently on different dogs just as it does with people. You thought that was too soon. At your request, another appointment was scheduled 3 weeks later. You neither called nor showed up for that appointment.

Yet another appointment was scheduled for ********. You called the front desk that morning to ask the time, was told 12:00. You mentioned that you would just like to drop off as you had school at 2:30, and pick up after your class. Despite the repeated requests for you to be present during the appointment to discuss the best haircut for ****.

That is when you got a phone call from ******. It was important for you to be there so the different options could be discussed with you, since what you had requested initially did not work out very well with ****' particular hair coat.

****** cut ****' hair as you requested, you did not like it. She needed to know what you like, and you needed to know what is physically possible.
