Additional Notes

Complaint: SWEETS SEPTIC WAS CALLED TO MY RESIDENCE. THE SEPRIC TANK HAD BACKED UP INTO HOUSE..THE WORKERS DRAINED TANK AND INFORMED ME THAT THE TANK WAS FULL OF SOLID MATTER. A NEW SYSTEM WAS PROBABLY THE WAY TO GO. THIS WAS LATE IN THE EVENING. I WAS TOLD HE WOULD RETURN IN EARLY AM(SATURDAY)TO FINISH.. I DIDN'T SEE ANYONE FOR FOUR DAYS(JULY 7TH). A SUPERVISOR WAS SENT OUT AND ADVISED ME THAT A WHOLE NEW SEPTIC SYSTEM NEEDED TO BSE PUT IN...BUT THAT SOME ONE WOULD NEED TO SOME OUT TO SEE IF THE DRAIN FIELD WAS ABLE TO STAND A NEW SYSTEM..I'V LIVED THERE SINCE 1972 AND THE DRAIN FIELD HAD WORKED JUST FINE. A TEST HOLE WAS DUG AND SEEMED TO BE ROCK SOILD.TO MAKE THINGS FAIRLY SHORT... A SEPTIC TANK WAS PUT ON TOP OF THE GROUND, A MAN MADE DRAIN FIELD WAS INSTALLED.. UNDERGROUND SPRINKLER WERE TORE UP AND THREE TREES WERE REMOVED...BY NOW THIS WAS AUGUST.. SWEETS CAME OUT AGAIN AND DRAINED SEPTIC TANK..THEY SUGGESTED THAT WE ONLY USE THE SYSTEM WHEN NECESSARY..THEY DID BRING A PORTA POTTY AND LEAVE ON THE FRONT STEPS OF THE FRONT DOOR (FOUR DAYS)NOW THE DIRT WAS HAULED IN (FILLER DIRT CRUSHED ASPHALT) THIS WAS TO COVER THE TANK AND DRAIN FIELD.. AFTER THE HILL WAS SCULPTURED A THREE FEET HIGH AND THIRTY FEET BY THIRTY FEET. TOP SOIL WAS LAYED ON TOP. THE FIRST DAY THE WIND BLEW THAT OFF. I CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE AGAIN,THIS TIME I SPOKE TO **** ********* THE OWNER, I SUGGESTED AND BETTER GRADE OF TOP SOIL WOULD BE NICE. ALSO I REQUESTED THAT GRAVEL BE HAULED IN TO RECOVER MY DRIVE WAY THAT WAS A MUDDY MESS (I ALSO LOST MY CIRCLE DRIVE WAY..TO MAKE THIS SAGA COME TO AN END.. JANUARY 1 2013 ANOTHER BACK UP. THEY CAME OUT AND INFORMED ME THAT THE PIPE FROM THE HOUSE TO TANK HAD NOT BE CLEANED OUT. THEY CUT PIPE AND DISCOVERED THAT THEY DIDN.T HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE TO REPLACE IT. THIS WAS THE COLDEST TIME OF THIS YEAR.. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THE TRENCH THAT WAS DIG TO REPLACE THE CORRECT SIZE PIPE WAS FILLED IN.. I WAS VERY UPSET AND ANGRY BY THIS TIME, I CALLED **** ********* AGAIN AND COMPLAINED THAT THE $11271.00 THAT HAD BEEN PAID TO THEM WAS ALL I WAS GOING TO DO..$230.00 WAS LEFT. I WAS TURNED OVER TO COLLECTIONS.

Desired Settlement: Account to be paid full status. Collections called off.

Business Response: When ***** called me she said she was not going to pay the rest of the bill. I asked her if there was a reason that she was not going to pay it and she told me that she did not have a reason, she just was not going to pay it and that she had paid enough.   I told her that i would check into the balance and let her know what i could do and she said don't worry about letting her know she was not going to pay it either way.  In what world is that ok??? Last time i checked when you owe a bill you pay it or dispute it, she did not dispute the charges so she owes the money.  That is why i turned her into collections.  I have been doing business for a long time and never have i had a customer do this to me. I am a fair and honest guy, if there was a problem i would take care of it or take the money off to make it right. You can ask for the rest of the bill to be dropped and work together to get through it, You can't just say you are not going to pay it for no reason.
