Your BBB routinely shares one of the ways we live up to our responsibility to ensure the lasting value of your Accreditation. We do that not only by checking to see that your business meets BBB Standards when you first apply to become accredited, but also by taking action to revoke Accreditation if an accredited business fails to continue to uphold those standards.
Both suspension and expulsion become part of the BBB Business Review available to the public on the company. And a company’s BBB rating is negatively impacted by the revocation of Accreditation, as well as the underlying reason of that action.
The following businesses have had actions related to their BBB Accreditation:
OCEAN CANYON PROPERTIES - accreditation was revoked by the Board of Directors on June 10, 2011. Company failed to eliminate the underlying cause in numerous complaints filed with the BBB regarding their sales tactics and practices. This business has an F rating with the BBB.
CRANK’S BARNYARD - accreditation was revoked by the Board of Directors on September 7, 2011. Company failed to respond to numerous complaints filed with the BBB. This business has an F rating with the BBB.
